The bottom layer is vanilla on vanilla, the top is red velvet cream cheese. I wish I had a picture of the top layer being cut into, (as tradition it was saved), but it would be gorgeous with the eggplant fondant and dark red velvet inside.

I just wanted to tell you how much everyone loved the zombie cake! As soon as they saw it they knew exactly who it was. My fiance LOVED it... he didn't want to cut it because he thought it was sooo cool, and when we were pulling off the "boils" the fondant ripped an revealed the red "blood" underneath.
